Iced Coffee Lemonade

This last recipe from sprudge.com might seem a little out of the ordinary, but iced coffee lemonade has quickly become a spring favorite over the last few years. If you’re in the mood for a refreshing twist on a classic iced coffee, then the addition of freshly squeezed lemon juice and tonic water is a hydrating and delicious solution. Give it a try, and let us know what you think!

Ingredients

- 3 oz Minas Espresso Honey Bee Specialty Roast
- 2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 oz lemon zest simple syrup
- 2 oz water
- Ice cubes
- 1 cup organic cane sugar
- 1 cup water
- Zest of one medium-sized lemon

Directions

First, prepare the lemon zest simple syrup. If you have store-bought syrup that works perfectly, but if not, it’s quick and easy to make at home! In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and lemon zest. Stir regularly on medium heat until the sugar dissolves and then remove from the heat. Let it cool and then pour it into a glass or bottle. You can store the syrup in the fridge until you’re ready to use it.

After making your lemon zest simple syrup, brew your Honey Bee Specialty Roast. Combine all the ingredients in a glass over ice and stir quickly until all the ingredients are evenly mixed. Add a splash more tonic water if you’d like before enjoying!
